Uniform

The Haverstock School uniform should be worn with pride. We expect all students to wear their uniform correctly and maintain a neat and professional appearance throughout the school day. 

We take pride in our school and want our students to represent Haverstock positively within the local community. A smart appearance reflects our values and helps create a positive learning environment.

Uniform Expectations

Students in Year 7-11 are required to wear: 

  • A Haverstock branded navy blue blazer or a Haverstock branded navy blue jumper 
  • School tie with designated year-group stripe
  • Plain white shirt
  • Black formal trousers or a black knee-length skirt
  • Headscarf (if worn) in navy blue, white, grey or black

The following items are not permitted:

  • Skinny trousers
  • Stretchy trousers or leggings
  • Denim or canvas clothing 
  • Short Skirts (skirts should be knee-length or no more than one inch above the knee)

Footwear

Students must wear plain black shoes.

Smart black trainers are permitted, provided that the shoes and any logos are entirely black.

The following footwear is not permitted:

  • Boots
  • Open-toed sandals
  • Slip-on footwear, including Crocs®

Shoes

PE Kit 

Boys

  • Navy blue collared PE top with Haverstock logo
  • Navy blue shorts or track bottoms
  • Appropriate sports socks
  • Appropriate footwear for PE activities

Girls

  • Navy blue collared or round-neck PE top with Haverstock logo
  • Navy blue sports leggings, shorts or track bottoms
  • Appropriate sports socks
  • Appropriate footwear for PE activities
  • Sports headscarf (if required)

Cold Weather PE Wear

  • Navy blue tracksuit bottoms
  • Navy or black base layer
  • Navy or black beanie and gloves (optional)

Apart from the Haverstock-branded PE top, PE kit should be plain wherever possible. Discreet sports branding is acceptable.

Personal Presentation

Students are expected to maintain a professional appearance and be ready to learn.

  • Stud earrings only (no hoops or drop earrings)
  • Small nose studs only (no hoops)
  • No hoodies or hats
  • Subtle, natural-looking makeup only
  • No acrylic pr extended nails

Purchasing Uniform

All branded uniform items, including blazers, jumpers, PE tops and ties, are available from our uniform supplier:Direct Schoolwear

Replacement ties can be purchased via ParentPay in the event of loss or damage. We recommend purchasing a spare tie  in case of loss or damage.
