Since our Ofsted in January 2017, the school has undergone a period of rapid change to address the issues identified in the Ofsted report.. James Hadley became our new Headteacher in September 2018 and we secured our best ever GCSE and A-Level results in 2018 with A Level results improving by a whole grade and GCSE by two thirds of a grade. An independent review of the school in June 2018 concluded:
“Senior leaders and governors have moved decisively to tackle the school’s weaknesses. The school is now moving forward and the groundwork for accelerated improvements has been established.”
We’re looking forward to our next Ofsted inspection and are sure that we will have made the necessary improvements to now be judged a good school and an outstanding one in the near future.
