In the blistering sun on Wednesday afternoon, Year 12's returned to school on their day off to attend an optional Y12 Sports Day. We were delighted to see over 50 students arrive either to watch or participate in the eight events spread across our outdoor area. Activities included team sports like football and basketball, as well as individual events like track races and javelin. We were even able to squeeze in a three-legged race due to popular demand on the day. A Sixth Form only Sports Day event has long been suggested by students and, with the remarkable help of the Student Ambassadors, was turned into an unforgettable day that will now run annually. We are always grateful to be able to use Student Voice in this way and thank all for their energy on the day!
