Year 10 Take the Stage with the Donmar Warehouse

Last week the Year 10 Drama class took part in their first workshop as part of their ‘Take The Stage’ project with the Donmar Warehouse theatre. This 8 week project involves students taking part in weekly workshops with professional theatre artists, where they will create and rehearse their own original piece of theatre. The project culminates in them performing this on a West End stage in front of over 300 people! This is our 6th year taking part in this workshop, and we are very grateful to the Donmar Warehouse for providing our students with this fantastic opportunity for free. The students’ first workshop was led by Marc Pouani, a famous movement director who works for Frantic Assembly. As you can see from the picture, he certainly put the class to the test with a very energetic and physical 2 hour movement workshop, but students rose to the challenge and showcased their creativity, positivity and resilience!
