Powering Up The H3 Federation: Tell Us Your Views
Haverstock And CCfL Proposal To Form H3 Federation
Since January 2022, Haverstock School and CCfL have been working in collaboration in a shared partnership under an Executive Headteacher. This has been very successful with all schools and their pupils seeing real benefits.
From summer term, April 2023, we are proposing to cement this relationship with the creation of H3 Federation. This will be a 'hard federation' whereby the schools operate under a single combined governing body.
Each school within the federation will continue to retain its own unique character and to be led by its own Head of School under the leadership of the Executive Headteacher. They will each retain separate budgets and will be inspected independently of each other by Ofsted.
Before the federation happens, we're inviting parents, pupils, staff, and the wider community to share their views in a 6 week consultation. We'd love to hear your feedback on our plans, before our Haverstock and CCfL governing bodies make a final decision.
Executive Headteacher James Hadley says, ‘Our schools are made much stronger by working together as a collaborative family. I'm very much looking forward to leading Haverstock, Heath and Harmood Schools on the next exciting stage of this journey as we power up with the proposed âH3â Federation.’
If you'd like to know more, the document below outlines why the governing bodies of Haverstock and CCfL schools believe this proposal is a good idea which will have beneï¬ts for pupils, parents and staff, and is supported by Camden Local Authority.
The consultation closed on Friday 17 March and the Governors of Haverstock and CCfL are now considering all responses before making a final decision.
We would like to thank everyone who submitted a response.
